Decorating on a Budget

Decorating with art is so important - more to share this week!!

We've talked about art arranging but how can you have art without spending a lot of money?  There are many things you can do!  First, if you love photography, take some interesting pictures and have them developed in different sizes.  If you go to a place like HomeGoods you can get some great, inexpensive frames.  Look for the frames on sale - even if they have a picture already in the frame you can take it out and insert your own photo.  You can keep all the pictures in the grouping with the same frame or you can do different frames for a more eclectic look.

Whenever you get to travel you can usually find some nice inexpensive art that is around.  Often you can get some really fun pieces unframed (therefore less money).  I always enjoy these pictures because each time I look at them they remind me of a wonderful vacation!  Again - look for frames at HomeGoods, etc.  Group them or find a fun wall that needs some interest.

We can't forget family pictures!  I love to group them on a wall and tell a story.  You can do all different sizes and frames in your group or you can have each of them the same size and frame - your preference.  I like a wall that people see (I chose my kitchen!).  People love looking at all the different pictures. You might also want to consider a black and white grouping of pictures as well.
