What do you think of this entry?! I love all the elements going on in this area! First of all I love how they put the open shelves in the wall. It leaves interesting areas to decorate as well as a more open, airy feeling for the entryway. The use of colored glass vases continues with this open feeling. It adds color and interest while keeping the light feeling.
A bench is a wonderful addition in any entry. It not only allows a place to put your packages, mail, etc when you come home but it also allows an area to sit down and take boots and shoes on or off. The use of a fabric bench brings brightness into the area as well as tying together the colors in the glass pieces.
So many entries today show the wood, hooks, and basket approach. While this is great in many homes I thought it would be interesting for all of you to see how doing things differently can be lots of fun. It also brings a unique feeling about your style to people when they first walk in. So go ahead - try it! Lets see how unique and fun you can be! j
