Here's The Schedule For Christmas In Clinton!

Starts Sunday, December 4, from 2-6pm in downtown Clinton

A message from the Clinton Chamber of Commerce:

The , in conjunction with several civic organizations and individuals, will host the 16th annual Christmas in Clinton on Sunday, December 4.  Most activities run from 2pm to 6pm. See below for a handy chart and schedule of the events.

A variety of free events are planned.  Small animals from Clark’s Farm petting zoo will be enclosed in a fenced area in front of the on East Main Street from 2:30pm until 4:30pm. Christopher Damon, UBS Financial Services and Mike Cuoco, are co-sponsoring the event.

, 10 West Main Street, will open at 3pm serving refreshments.  Santa will be on hand for photo opportunities. 

Several area churches will be participating.  East Main Street will be open, serving refreshments while the choir sings. , also on East Main Street, will host an Open House with refreshments and fellowship.  The on Commerce Street will hold its annual St. Lucia Festival at 6pm.

The Lions Club will light luminaries along Main Street and will serve refreshments at the Pierson School.  (Old Brick) will be open from 3pm to 6pm serving hot cider and desserts.  The Museum Room in will be open from 2pm to 6pm. 

The Masonic Lodge, Jeptha #95, located at the Town Hall, will host an Open House from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Annual Bazaar begins at 2pm at on Route One.  Crafts, gifts, cookies, a bake sale, coffee, chili and hotdogs will be available.  At 4:45pm there is a community sing followed by the arrival of Santa and the tree lighting at town hall at 5pm.

Available for viewing will be the Arbor Garden Club Christmas Tree and Wreath Festival at the entry of Town Hall.  Designated trees and wreathes will be sold through silent auction.  Any business or organization wishing to contribute a tree or wreath for sale or viewing should contact the club president at (860) 669-5121.  Trees will be decorated the week prior to December 4.

The will be offering a Holiday Dinner at the Firehouse from 4pm to 8pm. The public is welcome. 

is hosting its 14th Annual Mitten Tree.  New mittens, gloves or hats can be dropped at the shop, located at 36 Old Post Road. 

Timeless Interiors in Post Office Square and several shops and restaurants will be open for hospitality.

The will be open for hospitality and refreshments. In the Chamber’s conference room, the will host ornament decorating for children 8 years old and younger. 

on East Main Street will be open in the afternoon for visits with Mr. and Mrs. Claus.

 

New this year include a being planned by committee member Sandy Luke.  Houses will be on display and voting takes place at the . 

Other additions to this year’s event include music at Post Office Square being organized by . Several shops and restaurants will open for hospitality. Members of Sailing Masters Fife and Drum will play at Pierson at approximately 2pm.  An electric train display, compliments of Ray Bovich, will be set up at the Vece Gazebo area.
