Take Your Child to the Library Day!

Saturday, February 1st is the 3rd annual Take Your Child to the Library Day! Originally started by Nadine Lipman of the Waterford Public Library, the Take Your Child to the Library Day movement has grown quickly with over 375 libraries in 40 states participating this year. The Henry Carter Hull Library is no exception and will also be having some special events!

Drop by the Children's Room anytime between 10am-4pm on February 1st. We will have all of our pop-up books out for reading and a pop-up themed craft to do. At 3pm, Curious Creatures will be here to perform a live, educational animal show. They will be bringing several mammals, reptiles, and insects to talk about and show. You will even get to touch the animals! This show is recommended for children in grades K-6. There is limited space for this show, so please register at http://www.hchlibrary.org/kids/register_kids.php.

We look forward to seeing you!
