Unofficial/official unveiling July 25th!

Cleaning and preservation of the Morgan and Pierson statues has been officially completed.  With a coat of wax each year, the statues should withstand the test of time for another 25-50 years.  Please stop by our table at the summer concert tomorrow, Thursday, July 25, to see before and after photos of work on these statues and the Civil War monument.  A brief "unveiling " ceremony will be held before the start of the concert.  We have a remaining balance of $7500 to collect.  Please consider a donation of a dollar or two to "Give the Boys a Bath" care of Liberty Bank.

The Riccio family would like to thank the Connecticut Water Company for all of its support getting this project off the ground, Guilford Savings Bank, Liberty Bank, the support from the Board of Selectmen, the employees of Clinton Town Hall for putting up with our bizillion questions and calls, every private citizen who has donated so far, Chief Todd Lawry for his role in keeping this idea alive over the years, the support from the Clinton Historical Society, the Clinton 350 Committee, the efforts of State Representative Tom Vicino and State Senator Art Linares, the fantastic work and flexibility of Francis Miller and his team at ConservArt and a special thank you to the men and women of the Clinton Public Works Department whose work and assistance was crucial in completing this project so quickly (and for fixing our signs after every storm).

See you at the concert!
