"Gave" the Boys A Bath!

Value, a word in our culture which has changed with a throw away materialistic economy.  What we consider a value or valuable is truly born from each individuals perspective of life, morals and ethics.  In today's society, where we once paid two dimes for a donut AND a cup of coffee or two quarters for a gallon of gas, think of this value offered to each citizen of Clinton.

For the mere sum of 33 cents per statue, or one dollar, you could be part of history and involved in the cleaning, repair and preservation of three historic works of art which are unique and will NEVER be created again.  Works that were donated to our town by men and women who knew the value of honoring those who blazed trails for our future successes.  Artwork erected through the use of private donations, because the private citizenry of the day realized the need for public recognition of our forefathers.  A personal need, with a personal response, which if filled by government may have been less meaningful.

One dollar ensures our ancestors gifts of gratitude, honor and respect can be viewed and enjoyed by future generations.  33 cents per statue that will last over 30 years, meaning your investment will affect citizens decades in the future for just one cent per statue per year.

One dollar for another thirty years of preserving privately donated historic works of art approaching their 150th anniversary.  That my friends is the value of a lifetime.

14,000 citizens, $14,000, done deal, history preserved.  Donations can be made at our jar located at Malone's coffee house or at Liberty Bank on Main Street in Clinton.  Donations can be made until December 1st.  Thank you for your support!
