Lend a hand (or a raffle prize!) to Morgan REACT!
Morgan REACT is celebrating the great choices that Morgan students make and they need your support!
Dear Clinton business owner,
Would you like to partner with Morgan REACT to celebrate the positive choices that Clinton students make?
REACT (which stands for Reality Even Affects Clinton Teens) is a new club at Morgan this year. It is student-run with support from the school and from the First Selectman’s Task Force on Substance Abuse. Our goal is to help students avoid destructive decisions in a fun and productive manner. We have helped to make Morgan a more friendly, spirited place this year with events such as Haunted Hallways, Stomp Out Bullying, Positive Post-its, and Hippity-Hop Tourney.

Our next big project starts on April 22. It’s a surprise for everyone in Clinton so we can’t say too much, but be prepared for something amazing! From April 22nd-May 18th we’ll be celebrating the healthy drug-free decisions that Morgan students make with our friend Felix (a cat-like cartoon character that we designed). Felix is going to be appearing around town and we’re inviting people to connect with us (and him) through Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. We’ll be running a “Find Felix” scavenger hunt, asking people to take photos with Felix when they see him in Clinton. For every photo someone uploads to Facebook or sends in an email their name will be added to a raffle to win some great prizes.
That’s where you come in. Would you be willing to support our project and celebration by donating a prize to our raffle? We will recognize your business as a partner in our effort to recognize the great kids in Clinton on our Facebook page and in local media coverage.
