Is your PiCnic basket ready?!

Just three days remain until the start of the school year. Join us for one last summertime celebration on Sunday!

We are having a PiCnic - with an emphasis on the PiC!

Join us to celebrate Clinton and all of the amazing things that happen here every day! Bring a picnic basket, blanket and all of your friends!

August 26 on 1:00-4:00pm @ Pierson

There will be a performance by the band Up in Arms, a yoga demo that everyone can do and games for kids. The Sugar Bakery cupcake truck will also be there selling their award-winning treats (really! they won Food Network's Cupcake Wars!) so come on down to satisfy your sweet tooth!

What's PiC? It stands for Parnters in Community, the new name for the former First Selectman's Task Force on Substance Abuse. After 22 years of working to make Clinton a healthy, vibrant community for all of us the Task Force has
evolved. As Mary Jane Engle, a long-term coalition member put it, "the new name is about sharing the energy the partners in this work have for the bigger picture."

We hope that you will join us on this new adventure. And remember - same group, same mission - new name!

Let's celebrate because all of us are Partners in Community!
