Paint the People

Village Center for the Arts (VCA), a nonprofit
community fine art center in New Milford, CT., will host the third annual
‘Paint the People,’ an interactive art festival. The event will take place on Saturday
June 7th, 2014 (rain or shine) at the John
Pettibone School fields on Pickett District Road in New Milford. The location
is handicap accessible. The
event features interactive paint activities 12 noon – 8pm (Splatter Battles,
Giant Spin Art, Paint-a-long and more!), fine art creation and a student art
exhibit. The main stage will host music playing all day and into the evening, and
once the sun goes down, the Nightfall Dance Tent will start up (8pm, ages 18+).



General admission is $5 per person. Children under
two years are free. Interactive Paint Activity Bracelets are $15 in advance,
$20 at the gate. Bracelet purchase includes admission. Bracelets are available
for purchase now, at VCA, (12 Main St. New Milford, CT. 06776). For information regarding the event schedule, activity

the website and be a part of the fun!  All proceeds from the “Paint the People” benefit
Village Center for the Arts’ programming and scholarship fund.
