Community Corner

Medication Take Back & Free Lock Boxes (for first 40 attendees)

Bring your unused, expired or unwanted medications to the Clinton Police Department on October 26 between 10 AM - 2 PM for free and confidential disposal.  The first 40 people to drop off medication will receive a FREE medication LOCK BOX from Partners in Community.

Prescription drugs are the second most abused drug category in the United States.  Everyday, 2,500 teenagers will abuse prescriptions drugs for the first time.  The majority of people who abuse prescription drugs report obtaining medication from friends or family members.  Help Partners in Community spread awareness and reduce access!

Here is how to properly dispose of medication at home:

· Remove medication from original container and place into disposable container with lid or sealed plastic bag.  Remove all labeling from medication’s original package
