Team Chris Corgan put forth the time and dedication to train for the NYC marathon.

The team includes fantastic guys from Clinton, Mike Farrell, Chris Spaziano, Erik Savage, John Gaudet, Michael Corgan, and Scott Chapman (from West Springfield, MA).

Together they raised money under the Chris Corgan Memorial Foundation to give to charities, including Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.

Unfortunately the hurricane has caused much distress, especially in the New York area and the NYC marathon was cancelled. Our hearts and prayers go out to all that suffered and continue to suffer in this tragedy.

Team Chris Corgan is going to honor their commitment in running 26.2 miles for charities, through Clinton and Madison. We would love to see you out on our route, or even run with us for part of it, as we travel through Clinton and Madison, CT!

Saturday, November 10, start time at 9:30 am! Start location will be 32 Ben Merrill Road, Clinton, CT and ending at the entrance to the Clinton Town Beach at about 1:30pm.

The Christopher Corgan Memorial-Foundation marathon course has been set and we would love to have you join us for all or part of the run if you'd like. We are looking forward to seeing you out on the roads and completing our mission of 26.2. We dedicate this run to Chris' memory and to all of those affected by Hurricane Sandy. This is a wonderful opportunity to have the community out to cheer along their route. Taking an unfortunate situation and hard work and making the best of it, while helping those in need! Please visit our website chriscorganmemorial.com to learn more about the runners as well as the foundation or on Facebook - Christopher Corgan Memorial- Foundation to find the runners route for Saturday!

Good luck, guys!!! We think you are a wonderfully committed bunch and support you all! We are very, very proud of your decision to run and particularly to donate to those people of New York who have been so devastated by "Sandy". We will be there at start, along the way, and the finish! Lydia & John Gaudet
