National Novel Writing Month

During the month of November we will be celebrating National Novel Writing Month (also known as NaNoWriMo)! NaNoWriMo is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. Participants begin writing on November 1. The goal is to write a 50,000-word (approximately 175-page) novel by 11:59 PM on November 30. You are welcome to use the HCH Library any time  to write, but we will have special  meetings  (listed below)  to check in on your progress and hear from some authors who will share advice and offer encouragement. Drop in at any of the sessions listed below and start writing! More info about the program is at www.nanowrimo.org. Registration is not required.
