Cycle Against Cancer at Shoreline Fitness

The Connecticut Sports Foundation’s (CSF) CYCLE AGAINST CANCER indoor "spinning" event will take place at Shoreline Fitness in Clinton on March 2, 2013.  For event details and to register:  www.cycleagainstcancershoreline.org.


Last year, this event raised over $60,000 and we were able to help a 3-year old cancer patient from Clinton named Tess as well as other patients across the State! Payton, a
1-year old patient from East Haven, battling a rare form of cancer, will receive a 2013 CSF grant with the funds raised from our 2013 event, along with other CT cancer patients. 


What is Cycle Against Cancer?
This is an indoor “spinning” fundraising event that will benefit CT cancer patients and their families through the Connecticut Sports Foundation (CSF).  CSF is based out of Old Saybrook and was founded 25 years ago and provides financial support to CT cancer patients and their families. For more information about CSF:  www.sportsfoundation.org

This event will take place on Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.  The spin portion of this event will take place in two sessions, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.  Each team will be provided one spin bike and will strive to raise a minimum of $1,000. 


Each team will decide who will spin for the designated amount of time during the 3-hour session.  The event will conclude with a celebration that will include food and fun! Each team/participant will register and have their own fundraising page and website that they can customize and send out to all of their contacts, colleagues, friends, etc.  There is no limit to the number of people you can have on your team!
