Clinton Rotary's October Student of the Month
Clinton Rotary Club celebrates a Morgan Student
On Thursday, October 24, 2013, Clinton Rotary Club celebrated a Morgan School student - the first one of the school year 2013-14.School guidance counselor, Jan O'Brien nominated Senior Ajeetej Rai for demonstrating the Rotary club motto - "Service Above Self" in his daily life.
"AJ" is currently the president of REACT, a substance abuse prevention program. He is also on the board of the town anti-drug coalition called PiC (Partners in Community). AJ is vice-president of the Diversity Club, a member of the Yearbook staff and the a member of the Uganda club.
AJ and his parents: Sukhpinder "Happy" and Sukhdeep Rai along with Jan O'Brien were invited to the Clinton Country Club, where Clinton Rotary Club meets every Thursday at 6:30pm for a dinner meeting, to celebrate AJ being chosen Student of the Month for October 2013. Marcia Bird, Clinton Rotary Student of the Month Co-Chair, presented him with a certificate and a Rotary pen. His name is engraved on a plaque that hangs at The Morgan School. Congratulations AJ Rai !!!
