Clinton Rotary Club celebrates a Morgan Student for November Student of the Month

On Thursday, November 21, 2013, Clinton Rotary Club celebrated a Morgan School Student.

The Morgan School’s P.E. teacher Kate Iverson nominated JESSICA ACCETTA as Clinton Rotary’s November Student of the Month. During the monthly student celebration, Kate started her presentation by saying “Jessica was chosen for this honor because she goes above and beyond for the Clinton community!” Jess is involved in the REACT club and the knitting club where she is currently volunteering her time to collect scarves for children with cancer. Jess also is a chairmen on the board for Partners in the Community and for Take Action, which is a sub committee.  Jess is a Junior at The Morgan School and is looking into colleges that offer History and Art because she is interested in becoming a Pediatric Endocrine. She is interested in this because of her experience with diabetes growing up, she wants to help other kids get through and cope with diabetes like she has had to.   Jessica and her parents Ronald and Tina Accetta along with Kate Iverson were invited to the Clinton Country Club, where the Clinton Rotary Club meets every Thursday at 6:30pm for a dinner meeting, to celebrate Jess being chosen Student of the Month for November 2013. Marcia Bird, Clinton Rotary Student of the Month Co-Chair, presented her with a certificate and a Rotary pen. Jessica’s name is engraved on a plaque that hangs at The Mogan School.
Congratulations to Jessica Accetta!!!!
