Clinton Historical Society Living History Day

Step back in time and discover what life was like when artisans spun yarn from sheep's wool, dipped wax for candles, kept bees to make honey and forged metal into useful  tools. As part of Clinton's 350th town wide celebration, the Clinton Historical Society will be hosting a Living History Day with demonstrations, tours and refreshments on August 31 from 12:00 to 5:00. The Elisha White House will be open for visitors as well as the Buell Tool Museum and the George Flynn Historical Library. In addition to the historical demonstrations, whimsical fairy houses, designed and created by the garden committee, will be hidden throughout the CHS gardens.

Hands on activities will be offered for the entire family.
