Art-Filled Summer Days @ Maple & Main Gallery

The newest  artworks by 37 Connecticut artist-members will be on exhibit at Maple and Main Gallery’s Summer Show.  The gala opening is Saturday, July 20 from 4 to 7 p.m.  Stop by to see the wonderful array of  traditional and mixed media as you sip wine and nibble hors 'doeurves.  Buy a work to grace your home!

This exhibit will showcase the work of four sculptors working in wood, granite, bronze and mixed media. The styles of these sculptures and of all the art at Maple and Main covers a wide spectrum from traditional to abstract.

There will be lots of small works in the little gallery tucked off the main space in a room that once served as the office for the 1790s ship’s chandlery that originally occupied the gallery building.

And, there will be over 100 pieces of unframed original art as well as over 200 framed paintings ready-to-hang and depicting the joys of summer.

To recognize this special exhibit, the Gallery’s switching from its usual Friday night opening to Saturday and is starting one hour earlier than usual. Wine and food will be served.

The show runs until mid-September.
