Community Conversation About Education

The Clinton Community is invited to participate in a Community Conversation on Saturday, March 10 at The Jared Eliot Middle School.

A Community Conversation About Education will be held on Saturday, March 10, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Eliot School. Clinton's Preschool Initiative for the Clinton Board of Education, Best Beginnings, received a William Casper Graustein Foundation grant to invite townspeople to discuss "Clinton's Kids, Their Futures: How Should We Educate and Support Them?" Participants, including senior citizens, neighbors, taxpayers, students, business owners, parents, clergy, and town officials, will be able to look at the question from three viewpoints, that of the parents, the community, and the schools. Follow up sessions will be held to help guide future discussions and action. Breakfast will be served, childcare is available, and a raffle will be held. For those who would like more information, please call 860-664-6500 or 860-669-7246.
