Worried About Your Pet? They Are Welcome at the Emergency Shelter

Many Clinton residents are asking about their pets and wondering if they can come to the shelter. The answer is "yes."

 

Andrews Memorial Town Hall will be open beginning Monday, Oct. 29 as the town's emergency shelter during Hurricane Irene.

Any resident displaced or forced to evacuate by Hurricane Sandy is welcome at the emergency shelter. There will be food, water and cots.

Please remember to bring a few essentials such as your medications (enough for several days), a pillow and blanket if you can, a book or magazine, cell phone, etc.

Pets are welcome. They need to be on a leash, in a crate or in a cage. Please remember to bring their pet food and any medications.
