In The Hustle And Bustle Of Our Busy Lives, Sometimes We Forget To Think About Those Who Lost Their Lives Fighting For Our Freedom
With everything going on in Clinton these days including the budget, taxes and referendums plus graduation, heading to the beach, shopping, picnics and barbecues, let's take a moment to shift our thoughts from our lives to those who lost their lives fighting for our freedom.
Think about it - where would we be today without the sacrifices our forefathers and mothers made? Would we have a house to pay taxes on? Would we have schools to send our kids to each morning? Would we have Freedom of the Press?
While we take a look at the new and improved area around the Clinton War Monument (work completed by the town's Department of Public Works) in the photo gallery, let's reflect a moment.
