National Weather Service Predicts Thunderstorms For Today, Saturday And Sunday

It's going to be "iffy" for sure this weekend, depending upon where you are headed or hanging out along the shoreline.

For Clinton, the National Weather Service has predicted for today a
Hazardous Weather Outlook.

For this afternoon, they predict scattered showers and thunderstorms. It will be warm and partly sunny, with a high near 81. There will be a slow south wind around 9 mph. The chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Saturday's outlook appears nicer with only a 30 percent chance of rain. Sunday may be a repeat of last week. The weather service predicts a 60 percent chance of rain - but blustery and heavy downpours.

For Tonight: Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65. South wind between 3 and 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Saturday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. Southwest wind between 3 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Saturday Night: Isolated showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 68. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Sunday: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 4pm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 81. Light wind becoming south between 12 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Sunday Night: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 10pm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
