In addition to recipes, if you have historical photos of Clinton events, people and places, Rotary would like those, too!

Are your friends and family members always commenting that you make the best ___________ (fill in the blank) pie, soup, roast, cake, bread, fudge?

Well, now's your chance to showcase your best recipes.

Always cooking up some great idea or another, the has, in the works, a 350 Celebration Cookbook and your best recipes could be included!

The cookbook will be one of many products, events and happenings that will take place in 2013, the year the town of .

With blessings from the 350th Committee, Rotary is asking residents to submit their greatest recipes as well as any historical photos and stories they may have. Their goal is to have 350 recipes in the cookbook.

When completed, the cookbook would be for sale in early 2013.

Dee Tully of Clinton Rotary is designing the book and of Clinton will be printing it.

If you have a great recipe, please email it along with your name to Dee at deetully@snet.net.  You can also mail your typed recipe to The Clinton Rotary Club, PO Box 558, Clinton, CT 06413.

Please remember when sending in your recipe to include accurate amounts/sizes (you know your famous sauce takes a big can of diced tomatoes but if you don't indicate a 28 oz. container, someone may think 15 oz.).  Also, list all ingredients in the order they are used in the recipe to maintain consistency and accuracy.

For historical photos that need to be scanned, please email Dee. If they have already been scanned and they are in digital form, please email the photo(s) to Dee with some caption information, too.

Rotary is also looking for advertisers for the cookbook.  There are many options such as full, half, quarter and 1/8 page advertising space. There will also be a "Friends Of" ad for $15. The inside front cover and inside back cover will be specially priced. Please email Dee for advertising rates and more information.
