This Senior At The Morgan School Loves To Write - In Fact She's A Contributing Writer To The Clinton Patch!

Accomplishments: This life-long Clinton resident, among many other things, is a writer! She writes a weekly update on and other at her school for the Clinton Patch. If you ask Jessie why she likes to write, she'll tell you that writing is a great way to be expressive.

"I love to use humor in my writing because I like to believe people might have as much fun reading what I've written as I had while writing it," she says.

Jessie writes a variety of pieces including news, events, and fiction.

"I think my strong point is writing short stories because when I get into a zone, it just all pours out, then I reread it and say.... did I really write that?" she says.

Key to Awesomeness:  Besides being a contributing writer to Patch, Jessie was recently appointed a member of the , is a member of the and is Morgan's Environmental Club president.

"I have been part of the yearbook club for the past two years, and was the editor this year," she says. "I am also part of the Literary Magazine, a school club that publishes a book of student poems and short stories."

Jessie has also been involved in many school and town musicals; this year she has a leading role in the musical. 

"Extracurricular activities basically take up all my time, but I do these things because I love to do them," she says.
