Mezzetti Receives Community Service Award

For her many years of service to the towns of Clinton, Guilford and her industry.

 

Dolly Mezzetti, a leader in Clinton for many years as a member of the Board of Selectmen, Tax Collector, Boy Scouts, and much more, was presented with the Community Service Award by the Connecticut State Tax Collector's Association.

The award presentation took place May 17 at the Aqua Turf.

Mezzetti, who is in her seventh term as a Selectman, was the tax collector for the town of Clinton for 10 years. She is the present tax collector in Guilford and has held that role for 14 years.

She has also served as the President of the Middlesex and New Haven County Tax Collector's Associations and received a state appointment to the Certification Committee for Tax Collectors.

Mezzetti is married to Joseph Mezzetti and has three children and three grandchildren.
