Gov. Malloy Tours Shelters in East Haven
The governor and lieutenant governor also will view storm damage in West Haven.
Gov. Dannel P. Malloy and Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman will visit West Haven and East Haven today, beginning at 2 p.m., to view storm damage.
The pair will visit with residents who have sought shelter in both those towns, at the East Haven High School at 35 Wheelbarrow Lane and the Carigan Middle School in West Haven at 2 Tetlow St. During the tour the governor and lieutenant governor will also view storm damage at Chick’s Restaurant on Beach Street in West Haven.
Later this evening, Malloy will given another briefing from the Emergency Operations Center at the State Armory in Hartford.
