Clean Up Begins; Power May Not Be On For A Week
A message from First Selectman William Fritz, Town of Clinton:
We are still in the midst of a massive cleanup effort. Part of the issue is the amount of tree damage and debris it is generating.
We are setting up a disposal site on the Clinton Nurseries’ Property on Rte. 1 which will be opening tomorrow (Tuesday). This is not for residents.

Residents, if you are asked should pile their debris (brush only) along the curb. Not in the street!! We will have private contractors begin collection of debris later in the week. A second site may be opened up but we are still working out the details.
Power is still out, CL&P is working but I am advising people that it could be for up to a week.
