• Lemonade Stand

Where/When: This weekend at YOUR house

What You’ll Need: Take the kiddos to the store to stock up on supplies. Make lemonade together and set up the stand. Round up some neighborhood kids to help “man” the stand. Then watch the cash roll on in. Hopefully they make enough to grab a snack from the ice cream truck by the end of the day. Better yet, they can use their money for that cheap toy they want next time you take them shopping with you. Make sure you get out there early. You don’t want to miss the thirsty tag sale crowd!

Pricing: Parents- kids will need approximately $10 in “seed money.” Don’t worry, I’m sure they will promise to “work it off.”

• Little Folks Fair

Where/When: Saturday, June 4th 11-4pm on the Guilford Green

Why Go: The Community Nursery School sponsors this event! Support them by taking your munchkins out for a good time.

Pricing:  $2 Admission, $1 (Ages 2-12), Kids under 2 are free. Tickets are four for $2

• Campfire

Where/When: Backyard

What You’ll Need:  Newspaper, twigs, roasting sticks, graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate. Throw an impromptu campfire party this weekend. Have your kids call a couple friends. Tell them to bring their parents and you can all hang out and get to know each other. It’s cheap, fun and always a blast!

Pricing: Raid your cabinets first….if you're short on supplies, I’m sure ShopRite can hook you up for $10.
