• Flag Block Craft Idea

You Will Need: 2x4 lumber, cut into these pieces: 2-7 inch blocks and 4-3.5 inch blocks
craft paint and foam brush
sand paper and stain
Ok- Not only is this project easy and cheap BUT you will love to keep it and actually use it in your home as a decoration! Check out this website for detailed directions and a beautiful picture!
Pricing: Dirt Cheap! You probably have most of these supplies in your garage.
• Flag Tee
Where/When: Home project for a rainy holiday weekend
Why Go: Let’s face it…you’ll probably be stuck inside until this flood subsides, so you should probably get a little crafty! Around this time every year I’m usually in a rush to find red, white and blue for the family to wear at the parade. Typically, I tend to be lazy and run to Old Navy for their $5 flag tees. However, this year I have found a homemade alternative. Follow this link for step by step directions.
Pricing: One small trip to the fabric store and you’re all set.
