Everyone Loves The Garbage Man!

When you have no electricity, no phone, no computer, no Internet, no television, no microwave, no flushing toilets or running water (and for days!) it doesn't feel as though life will ever seem normal again.

So when Larry Battastini of Clinton, an employee of Sweitzer Waste Removal, made his rounds on August 31, he actually received hugs from customers who said they saw his arrival as another sign that things are returning to normal.

Here he is shown working the neighborhoods off of the hard-hit Neck Road area in Madison.
