Attention All Golfers!

The Clinton Lions Club Benefit Golf Tournament Is This Coming Monday, June 27

There is still time to sign up for the Clinton Lions Club golf tournament to benefit DARE. The event takes place Monday, June 27 at 11:30am at the .

"It will be great fun," said Lions Club and Golf Committee member Rich Santanelli. "All the money raised at the event stays in town."

Santanelli said that proceeds from the tournament benefit Project D.A.R.E (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) and other Clinton programs and projects such as the Lions Scholarship, Pancake Breakfast, eye glasses and hearing aides for the elderly and needy, Project Graduation, funds for returning soldiers, the Gazebo at the , Clinton Boy Scouts, , Christmas presents for the needy, youth government trips, and other programs.

The driving range and putting green will be open beginning at 10:30am that morning for those golfers who wish to practice prior to teeing off. Officially beginning at 11:30am, the day consists of lunch, 18 holes of golf, dinner, cocktails, contests, prizes and raffles.

Event sponsorships are available at the $100, $250, $500 and $1,000 levels.  Entry fee per player is $190 and includes green fees, driving range, commemorative gift, lunch, cocktail hour refreshments and dinner.
