FEMA Applications; Hamburgers & Hot Dogs At Morgan On Friday

A message from the first selectman:

We are continuing the clean-up. Our brush operation is going well and CL&P has flooded the town with 15 crews. Most main roads should be up late or early tomorrow.

The will be open 1pm to 8pm today for showers.

We also have MRE’s (military ready meals) and water at both locations.

Friday, Sept. 2 and next Tuesday, Sept. 6 from 9am until 3pm and next Thursday, Sept. 8 from 3pm to 7pm we will have an intake person at Town Hall receive information from residents regarding damage to their properties. This is part of FEMA’s individual assistance program.

Residents can call 860-664-1137 and speak to Susan George to get listed.

We are also going to cook hamburgers and hot dogs at the Morgan School tomorrow, Friday Sept. 2, from 5pm to 8pm. The football team is volunteering its services.
