7th Annual Clinton Family Day This Saturday

It's a free and fun-filled day for Clinton kids and their families down at the town beach.

 

Believe it or not, the 7th annual Clinton Family Day is almost here! It takes place on Saturday, July 21 at the at the end of Waterside Lane. Activities begin at 8:30am and end at 2:30pm.  A schedule of events is included (see below).

The event is completely FREE for kids and open to Clinton children and their parents.

There are many things to do including a sand sculpture contest, obstacle course, games, tug-o-war, arts and crafts, bucket brigade, and much, much more. 

There will be a photo opportunity with Captain Hook & Ariel (parents, bring a camera) and ongoing music of your favorite songs by a D.J.

Light refreshments such as beverages, popcorn, watermelon, cotton candy and slushies are complimentary.

 

Schedule of Events:

8:30am:  Registration & Sand Sculpture Contest Begins (large pavilion)

10:15am:  Judging of Sand Sculpture Contest (far beach beyond rocks)

9:30am – 10am:  Beach Combing with Dana Skidmore (far beach near water)

10am – 10:15am:  Potato on a Spoon Races (beach before rocks)

10:15am – 10:45am:  Crazy Dress-Up Races (beach before rocks)

10:45am – 11:15am:  Sack Races (beach before rocks)

11:15am - 11:30am:  Beach Ball Relay Races (beach before rocks)

11:30am – 12:30pm:  Tug of War (Ages 7 – 9) (beach area)

12:30pm – 1:30pm:   Tug of War (Ages 10 – 12) (beach area)

1:30pm – 2:15pm:  Bucket Brigade Races (beach before rocks)

2:15pm – 2:30pm:  Water Balloon Toss (beach before rocks)

Ongoing Activities (Free):  9:30am – 2:30p: Face Painting, Tattoos, Bean Bag Toss, Foam Art, Sand Art, Ring Toss, Minute To Win It, Arts & Crafts, Spin Art, Ping Pong, Obstacle Course (Playground Area) and Water Slide.
