Living History Day at Clinton Historical Society

Join your friends and family at the Clinton Historical Society for a trip back in time to experience all things hand made . Early American artisans will be demonstrating their craft on August 31st from 12:00 to 5:00 as part of Clinton's town wide 350th celebration. Learn how a bee keeper cares for his hives, take part in candle making demonstrations, explore the art of hand spinning wool and watch a blacksmith turn metal into useful tools. There'll be hands on activities for kids as well as tours in the society's beautiful garden to discover magical fairy houses crafted by the CHS garden committee.
In addition to historical demonstrations enjoy tours of the historic 1700 Elisha White house (Old Brick), the George Flynn Library, Buell Tool Museum and gardens. Refreshments and historical crafts for sale throughout the day. For additional information contact claudiachrisoulis@gmail.com
