Things Are Smokin' At Clinton's Newest Food Stand 'The Meat Hut'

And not just because it's 100 degrees outside!

The Meat House, now in its third week of operation, is Clinton's newest foodie hot spot serving up slow smoked BBQ, Mac and cheese and daily specials.

After opening up on June 24 at their location at 15 West Main Street, business has been going even better than expected, according to owner Jeff Mastoianni's family, who we ran into outside of the Hut this week.

Everything at the hut is smoked in a smoker for at least 12 hours and folks who have tried the food have raved about it on the business's Facebook page. Here's what some folks had to say:

"Stopped by for lunch today with the family. LOVE the pulled pork!"

"We're in Clinton for several weeks this summer. Made our first visit to The Meat Hut today and our sandwiches were amazing!! Very friendly service as well. We will definitely be back!"

There's tons of stuff on the menu to choose from, like brisket, pulled pork, daily Mac and cheese, the classics like hamburger and hot dogs and more. They also offer daily specials like chili dogs, Cole slaw and more!

The Meat Hut is open 7 days a week from 11 AM until 7 PM so be sure to check out this new business in town!
