Five Great Deals: March 9-15

We're all watching our family budgets these days. Whether shopping with coupons or looking for two-for-one deals, we're taking advantage of all sorts of offers and savings that help us stretch our dollars.

1. Coupons

Deal:  Coupons.com had 185 coupons you could print out when I last checked and printed.  Not unheard of stuff either, good stuff, like Windex, Folgers, Yoplait, Pillsbury, Maybelline, Kashi, Glade, Pledge, DVDs.  But wait, there's more.  Click the local coupons in the upper left hand corner and get $25 restaurant coupons for $3!

Deal: Your Madison True Value hardware store has potting soil on sale this week for $2.99 for 8 quarts.  They also have super heavy, scrolled-edge door mats for $10.  My dog does not wipe his feet and this helps a lot during mud season.

3. Party Supplies

Deal: Come see Dixie at in Clinton.  Doesn't that sound like a party already?  She always has a selection of greeting cards for 50 cents.  Her real treasure for cake people is her collection of discontinued Wilton shaped cake pans at discounted prices.  These are coveted in the baking world.  Her past holiday decorations are at LEAST 50 percent off--perfect for your Christmas-in-July party.  She's a lively one who is happy to help you plan your party and carry your supplies out to your car. 

4. Foot Massage

Deal: in Clinton just launched a new foot massage service. Mention Patch.com and receive 25 percent off your foot massage.  Apple Spa offers a full-service hair salon, facials and tanning.  You may never leave.  They run monthly specials offering great deals on a variety of services.

5. Leather and Suede cleaning

Deal: is trying to help you get out of winter.  They are currently offering 40 percent off dry cleaning of leather or suede.  It's been a long, hard winter, your garments have served you well, now take care of them and put them away for next year.
