Clinton Businesses Invited to Special P&Z Meeting

The Clinton business community and interested citizens are invited to attend a special meeting on the new Town Plan of Conservation and Development.


The Planning Committee of the Clinton Planning and Zoning Commission has kicked off work on a new Town Plan of Conservation and Development, according to a recent press release. Much of the focus of economic development will concentrate in areas along Rt. 1, Rt. 81 and the I-95 interchange area at exit 63. 

P&Z invites businesses to be part of this process, and will be holding a meeting Wednesday, May 22, at 7 PM in the Rose Room of the Town Hall. The meeting will be hosted by Board of Selectmen, Economic Development Commission and the Planning Committee of P&Z.


According to the press release, the agenda will include the following:   

  • Vision for a Sustainable Clinton   
  • Development Areas in Clinton     
  • Brainstorming and business input     
  • Ideas for Economic Development 
  • How to move forward
