A Social Services Help Day will be held on Thursday, September 27. The Department of Social Services Bus will be on hand for residents to apply for various state programs, including SNAP, Husky, etc. Community Health Center will hold a mobile dental clinic. Literacy Volunteers Valley Shore will be in attendance, and VNA Community Healthcare will be in attendance to administer Flu Shots. In addition, the CT Food Bank Truck will distribute groceries to those in need from 1:30- 2:30 p.m. (bring bags, no appointment necessary). Flu Shots will be available 9 a.m. to noon, sponsored by VNA Community Healthcare. You must make an appointment for the DSS bus and/or the dental clinic-- please contact Cheryl Church, Coordinator of Clinton Social Services, (860)6697347 to set up an appointment.
