"Trees Of Connecticut" Art Show

Get Your Artwork Ready Now For The October 28 Submission Date

The Clinton Tree Committee is seeking artists for the 6th Annual Art Show to be held at the this November.

There will be a new theme this year, "Trees of Connecticut."

Artists of all ages are encouraged to submit their works in any medium of their favorite trees in Connecticut. Artwork must be ready to hang. There will be a prize for the "People's Choice."

Artists may submit their work at the library on Friday, October 28, from 4pm to 6pm.

The mission of the Town Tree Committee is to protect the valuable urban forest, and to educate Clinton residents about the planting and care of trees. The tree ordinance approved in 1998, established the guidelines for the planting, maintenance and removal of town trees.
