The Convertibles Play In Town Tonight!

Free Concert Begins At 6:30pm At The Abraham Pierson School

Don't miss a FREE concert tonight by one of the most popular bands on the shoreline, The Convertibles!

The Clinton Chamber of Commerce continues its First Niagara Bank Concert Series featuring the music of The Convertibles on Thursday August 4 at the Vece Gazebo, located at the Pierson School, Main Street, Clinton. 

The concert is sponsored by Unilever and Drs. Carlough, DMD; L. Gagnon, DMD and J. Burzin, DDS.

The Convertibles is a five-piece band that plays older classic rock and roll, rhythm and blues and swing music (pre-1970). 

The group consists of drummer, John Rispoli; lead guitarist, James Montez; saxophonist, Bill Holloman; bass guitarist, Dave Slater and lead singer, Katherine Christopher.

Included in the band’s repertoire are songs by Smokey Robinson, Aretha Franklin, Sam Cooke and Buddy Holly.  Visit their website at www.convertiblesct.com.

The summer series continues on Thursday evenings through August 25.  Next up: the music of country band Goldrush on August 11 followed by The Engine Room on August 18.

The free concert begins at 6:30 p.m.  Guests should bring a lawn chair.
