Great Escape: Dinner Fundraiser in New Haven

Great Food, Great Cause

If the highlight of your week so far has been getting the kids to bed before the “Dancing With the Stars” premiere, Patch is here add a little spice to your life.

Red and Miso in New Haven are hosting an Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Dinner Concert to benefit the relief efforts in Japan. Originally two events were planned, one at each restaurant on two separate dates, but now the fundraiser will be one combined event.

Starting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, Miso, 15 Orange Street , will serve a three-course wine dinner and host a silent auction. An Andy Akiho first release CD will be included with each ticket. Tickets are $100 per person and 40 percent of all proceeds benefit Hands on Tokyo, a Japanese earthquake and tsunami relief organization.

If you can’t make it out to support the relief effort but would still like to help out, there are plenty of ways to get involved.
