Because It's No Fun To Stay Home All Weekend

There are no excuses for laziness this weekend. Sorry, not one. We’re providing you with the essentials for a fantastic weekend, if we do say so ourselves. Check out the comedy How the Other Half Loves for some good laughs or help support childhood cancer research at the St. Baldrick’s fundraiser at Bell Amici in Guilford. WHERE/WHEN: Ivoryton Playhouse. Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2 p.m.

WHY GO: It’s a comedy. It’s at the Ivoryton. It’ll be funny.

PRICING: Tickets are $40 for adults, $35 for seniors, $20 for students and $15 for kids.

WHERE/WHEN: First Church of Christ Congregational on Saturday at noon.

WHY GO: Easter eggs. Candy. Enough said.

PRICING: Free.

WHERE/WHEN: Bell Amici Restaurant on Route 80 in Guilford on Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.

WHY GO: You’ve been itching for a new spring hairstyle—or you’re in for some pizza, live music and fundraising for a great cause.

PRICING: Fundraising goal is $5,000!

4. 

WHERE/WHEN: North Madison Congregational Church on Saturday at 7 p.m.

WHY GO: “Classic Americana” in North Madison? Can’t beat it.

PRICING: $20 for adults; $5 for kids in high school and under.

5. 

WHERE/WHEN: Sunday at 3 p.m. Parade begins at State Capitol and heads around Bushnell Park.

WHY GO: We love those Huskies! And Kemba Walker, of course.
