Race to Nowhere - film screening & discussion

Warning: this movie will make you take action to challenge assumptions about how best to prepare our youth to be bright, successful adults!

Race to Nowhere is a documentary film that exposes "the dark side of America's achievement culture." It follows students who are overworked and stressed, teachers who are burned out and worried about students' skill development, and parents who are trying to do what's best for their kids. In collaboration with the Clinton PTA, Clinton Public Schools & other shoreline communities, the Task Force is encouraging all Clinton residents to see this movie.

Doors open at 6:30pm
Film screening beings promptly at 7:00pm with a discussion to follow.
