Gingerbread House Decorating Contest

Have you heard the buzz?  Christmas In Clinton has added a new event- a gingerbread house decorating contest.  How fun is that?  

Not only will this be a great time, you will also support a more than worthy cause - Families Helping Families Oil Fund. 

The contest is seeking anyone and everyone to participate.  Don’t be intimidated if you have never made a gingerbread house-if you can bake a batch of cookies and frost a cake you can make a house-seriously that simple!!

If you go to the event website, clintongingerbreadhouse.com you will find all the event details-rules, entry information, recipes, templates and plenty of inspirational photos. 

On Facebook you can friend the number fan of the event, Clinton Gingerbread.   Clinton Gingerbread, will keep you up to date on all the details as well as point you in the right direction with any question and provide you with tips on how to win “blank” houses, already assembled but, waiting for all the confections to make it a winner.

There will be no better time to discuss your plans for what you will create than around the Thanksgiving table.  Make it a family event-see who can out do the other or collectively work to create an amazing masterpiece.  There are local businesses on board and making their plans to submit an entry too-don’t let your business be left out. 

Don’t miss out on this great new event, Sunday December 4th.  Bring your completed, ready for judging gingerbread house to the First Congregational Church in Clinton between 12pm and 2:30pm.   The public is invited to view the creations starting at 3pm.  There are no fees for entering the contest or viewing the display.

Join in the fun and submit your special gingerbread house in the Gingerbread House Decorating Contest for Christmas in Clinton.

Open to all age groups.

Christmas in Clinton takes place Sunday, Dec. 4 from 3-7pm.
