The Clinton Tree Committee is seeking artwork for the Seventh Annual Art Show. The theme this year: THE TREES OF CONNECTICUT. Artists are encouraged to submit paintings and photographs of their favorite Connecticut trees. Submissions must be original artwork and be ready to hang. A prize will be awarded to the work voted “People’s Choice “. The show will be held at the Henry Carter Hull Library, 10 Killingworth Turnpike, Clinton. It will run from November 1 – November 30.
The mission of the Clinton Tree Committee is to protect our valuable urban forest, and to educate Clinton residents about the planting and care of trees. The tree ordinance approved in 1998, established the guidelines for the planting, maintenance and removal of town trees.
