Clinton Artist's Work Available Through Chamber

Here's a unique opportunity to own a print (or the original) from an internationally recognized artist.

 

The is selling a signed 11" x 14" limited edition print of the Stone Sloop Wasp by internationally renowned local artist Victor Mays. 

The 69-foot sloop Wasp was built in 1813 at Lansingburg, New York, on the Hudson River. She was later purchased by the Beattie granite quarries in Branford, Connecticut, and used to carry and set the stone in seawalls and breakwaters from Block Island down to New York. Wasp carried the granite for the base of the Statue of Liberty.

Only 150 prints will be made available. Numbers one through 15 will sell for $125 with a re-mark by the artist. Numbers 16 through 150 will sell for $60 a piece. The original artwork is offered through the artist for $1,200.

Reservations are being accepted with payment expected at delivery.
