Amazing Race, Celebrity Apprentice, Upstairs Downstairs

The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business, 8 p.m., CBS

I was so happy last week when it turned out to be a non-elimination, in part because I simply enjoy being right and in part because I really like the Kentuckys and think they play a good game. Life lesson Mallory: Don’t ever choose the schnitzel. Tonight, teams have to measure Lichtenstein on scooters (I think) and eat something horrendous in Switzerland.

The Celebrity Apprentice, 9 p.m., NBC

We were as relieved as Meatloaf last week when Trump finally fired Gary Busey, if only because we did not want to see John Rich arrested for shooting Busey in the head. Tonight, the challenge promises to be Dullsville, as they teams are tasked with creating a four-page advertising campaign, and those are not fun to watch. I’m thinking NeNe is close to cracking though so maybe she will smack Star with a big box of graphics.

Masterpiece Classic, 9 p.m., PBS (check listings)

They have brought back Upstairs Downstairs. I remember my parents dropping everything to watch this when we were kids. Yep. That’s the kind of household I grew up in: “Come on dear, Upstairs Downstairs is on!”
