Tiger Den Cleans Up!

This Clinton Cub Scout Pack 7 Heads To Land Trust Trails For A Day Of Pick Up

There certainly was no trash left behind as boys of Tiger Den 2 from Clinton Cub Scout Pack 7 peformed a trail cleanup recently at Kenilworth Forest, part of the Clinton Land Trust. 

The scouts were completing the final part of the Cub Scout Leave No Trace Award, said cub leader John Whittel.

As Whittel explains, Leave No Trace is a plan that helps people to be more concerned about their environment and to help them protect it for future generations.

Leave No Trace applies in a backyard or local park (frontcountry) as much as it does in the wilderness (backcountry). 

The scouts learn and emulate the six Leave No Trace Frontcountry Guidelines:
