Third Annual "Stuff the Cruiser" this Saturday

It's that time of year when folks generously donate food items to the Clinton Food Pantry by "stuffing" a Clinton Police cruiser with food and other supplies.

If you are looking for a way to help out those less fortunate in town, here's an event that takes place this weekend.

Families Helping Families and The Clinton Police Department will be hosting their 3rd Annual "Stuff the Cruiser" Food Drive.

The event takes place on Saturday, April 20, from 10am to 2pm at Clinton Stop & Shop, rain or shine.

"We hope to re-stock the Clinton Food Pantry after a long difficult winter. There are empty shelves at our hometown Food Pantry," said Miner Vincent, President of Families Helping Families.

Some needed items include: juice boxes, prepared meals such as Chef Boyardee products (Mini Ravioli, Beefaroni and spaghetti & meatballs), canned fruits and vegetables, and cans of tuna fish.

All non-perishable food items and dollars collected at this event stay within the Town of Clinton.  Food collected is donated to the Clinton Food Pantry and donated dollars help to fund Families Helping Families community out-reach programs.
