Reclaiming and Grading Nod Road Begins; Occasional Closures Anticipated

The process of reclaiming and grading Nod Road starts June 10 and will continue for about four days, according to Clinton Public Works. The road will be restricted to alternating one way traffic and may be occasionally shut down during the day.

A message from the Clinton Public Works Department:

On Monday June 10th the process of reclaiming the road will start at the Nod Place and Nod Road intersection and proceed down Nod Road towards North High Street.  The process of reclaiming and grading will take approximately four days. The schedule now calls for the first layer of asphalt to be completed prior to the weekend (weather dependent).

Please be advised, Nod Road will be restricted to alternating one way traffic for the duration of the week and it may be occasionally shut down during the day. Access for school buses and emergency services will be maintained but again there will be times of limited traffic.  When CLOSED personnel will be located at the barricades to direct you on how to access portions of Nod Road.

We are advising all residents to stay off of Nod Rod unless it is absolutely necessary to use the road.  We strongly suggest that you use the same DETOUR routes that we in place last year during the construction of the cross culverts.
