Nod Road Update: Final Paving Scheduled for Wednesday

Nod Road will be paved tomorrow starting at approximately 7:00am. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

The following message is from the Public Works Department on Tuesday, June 25: 

Crews will complete paving the aprons and curbing today. We anticipate that the final paving will occur tomorrow or Thursday. As soon as we have the schedule we will send an update out. During the final paving access will be limited with alternating traffic. 

At times, traffic may be stopped to allow for some of the paving that will be done.   The road will be maintained accessible to EMERGENCY responders during the entire period of work.  We are encouraging everyone to avoid the area if at all possible and follow the regular DETOUR around the work site for the day. 

Additional work will be scheduled for the guiderails to be adjusted to match the new road elevation.

The final work on this project will be completed by the Department of Public Works. This work will include the back filling of the curbs and planting grass, landscaping alongside the road and cleaning the areas up that have been disturbed.
